In the game, gears appear as an add-on item that you can put on to a Bestia, like an additional trait.

Based on the type of IoT devices the user has synced to the account, the available gears for the user to purchase may vary. A user may want gears on their Bestias for three main reasons; looks, rarity, and to boost level(s).

There are various types of gears that users can purchase to add to their Bestia(s). Specific gear is designed to respond to a specific set of data. For example, if you own a Peloton home cycling system, there will be a gear for your Bestia you may purchase. When purchased the gear, your data input while exercising with Peloton will be amplified. Hence, it multiplies increases in levels including the rarity level while it is on the Bestia.
